Cheval Blanc Paris seeks a Commis Waiter in Paris for a fixed-term (CDD) restaurant role at Café Maxime Frédéric x Louis Vuitton.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Rang to deliver an impeccable dining experience from guest welcome to departure, including coat check and seating procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the dining room and service stations, ensuring mise en place and cleanliness in accordance with Maison standards.
- Execute service of food and beverages, supporting presentation standards specific to Cheval Blanc and the restaurant concept.
- Ensure strict compliance with hygiene standards (HACCP) and perform cleaning and maintenance of service equipment.
- Manage replenishment and stock at the point of sale to guarantee seamless service flow.
- Clear tables and maintain the dining room during service; coordinate with kitchen, stewarding, cellar and economat to ensure harmonic service.
- Promote the restaurants and food events organised by the hotel and the Maisons Cheval Blanc when interacting with guests.
Qualifications
- BEP/CAP or Bac Pro in Hospitality, Catering or equivalent vocational qualification.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in luxury hotel or Michelin-starred restaurant service.
- Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory; mastery of an additional language (Arabic, Russian, Chinese or Portuguese) is highly desirable.
- Sound knowledge of HACCP hygiene standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills, customer-orientation, discretion and a professional appearance.

Experience
Minimum three years’ hands-on experience in service within luxury hospitality or a starred restaurant; internships or shorter placements in similar establishments may be considered for particularly strong candidates.
Education
BEP/CAP/BAC PRO in Restauration, Hospitality or equivalent vocational qualification.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Paris, Île-de-France, France.
