Cheval Blanc St-Barth seeks Commis de Salle in Saint-Barthélemy. Fixed-term dining service position in luxury Caribbean palace.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain dining areas, service stations, and guest-facing spaces in compliance with HACCP hygiene protocols and Maison standards
- Assist service team members with table setup, service delivery, beverage accompaniment, and clearing
- Ensure continuous replenishment of service materials and supplies throughout service periods
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness, organization, and elegance of all dining and service areas
- Properly store, clean, and maintain all service equipment and tableware
- Coordinate seamlessly with dining room, kitchen, stewarding, and ancillary departments to ensure fluid operations
- Embody the Maison's values of exacting standards, discretion, and service excellence
Qualifications
- BEP, CAP, or BAC PRO in Hospitality/Culinary Arts
- Prior experience in fine dining, hospitality, or luxury service environments preferred
- Fluent in French and English (written and oral)
- Mastery of HACCP food safety standards
- Thorough understanding of dining service fundamentals
- Meticulous attention to detail and presentation
- Strong teamwork and adaptability skills
- Polished personal appearance and positive demeanor
- Excellent interpersonal abilities

Experience
Entry-level candidates with foundational hospitality or fine dining background are welcome; prior experience in luxury service environments is valued but not strictly required.

BEP, CAP, or BAC PRO in Restauration (Hospitality/Culinary)
