Cheval Blanc St-Barth seeks Commis de Salle for Langosteria restaurant, Saint Barthélemy. Full-time position in ultra-luxury Caribbean hospitality.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Rang in creating an inviting atmosphere and ensuring guest satisfaction across all service touchpoints
- Prepare and organize the dining room according to Cheval Blanc standards, ensuring rigorous cleanliness and setup compliance with HACCP norms
- Maintain continuous supply of the service point and ensure seamless service flow
- Actively participate in food and beverage service, supporting the Chef de Rang with precise plate presentation aligned to Cheval Blanc standards
- Manage clearing and cleaning during service, maintaining consistent dining room cleanliness and equipment maintenance
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with kitchen, storeroom, wine cellar, and stewarding teams to ensure harmonious service execution
- Contribute to creating a memorable guest experience from welcome through departure, including seating, cloakroom coordination, and departure assistance
- Promote the restaurants and culinary events organized by Cheval Blanc
Qualifications
- BEP/CAP/BAC PRO in hospitality or culinary studies
- Knowledge of luxury hospitality or Michelin-starred restaurant operations
- First professional or internship experience in a comparable establishment
- Mastery of HACCP hygiene standards
- Fluent French (spoken and written)
- Strong proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous
- Mastery of service techniques

Entry-level with first professional or internship experience in luxury hospitality or fine dining establishments preferred.
Education
BEP, CAP, or BAC PRO in hospitality, culinary arts, or restaurant management.
