Cheval Blanc Paris seeks Commis de Rang for luxury fine dining service in prestigious Paris hotel.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chef de Rang in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences across all dining venues
  • Uphold HACCP hygiene standards by preparing and organizing the point of sale according to house procedures
  • Execute service across the dining section with precision, maintaining Cheval Blanc standards at all times
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with kitchen, pantry, wine cellar, and stewarding departments to ensure seamless service
  • Contribute to memorable guest experiences from arrival through departure, including seating, coat check, and service phases
  • Promote the restaurant offerings and special dining events organized by the hotel and Cheval Blanc properties
  • Participate actively as a brand ambassador in creating a distinguished and welcoming ambiance

Qualifications

  • BEP, CAP, or BAC PRO in restaurant operations
  • Knowledge of luxury hospitality or Michelin-starred restaurant service
  • First experience (internship or position) in a similar establishment
  • Significant service experience required in an establishment of equivalent standing
  • Fluent English (written and oral) — mandatory
  • Proficiency in a third language preferred (Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, or Portuguese)
