Role & Responsibilities

  • Support Chefs de Partie in daily kitchen operations, executing basic and intermediate culinary preparations according to established recipes and technical sheets.
  • Perform mise en place, simple cooking and careful plating/dressage to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
  • Prepare and cut fresh produce with accuracy, applying appropriate culinary techniques and knife skills.
  • Follow hygiene and food‑safety procedures (H.A.C.C.P.) and contribute to kitchen cleanliness and organization.
  • Collaborate closely with the brigade to maintain service flow, follow instructions, and assist with stock control and supply handling.

Qualifications

  • Culinary vocational qualification (CAP to Bac+2 / BTS) or equivalent professional training.
  • Minimum three years' professional kitchen experience, including at least two years as a commis and prior experience in high‑end or Michelin‑starred restaurants.
  • Demonstrable competence in working with fresh produce, basic butchery/cutting and recipe adherence.
  • Strict application of H.A.C.C.P. standards and kitchen safety procedures.
  • Reliable, disciplined, team‑oriented demeanour with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Experience
