Cheval Blanc (LVMH) — Paris: Commis Chef (Italian Restaurant). Entry-level, full-time role supporting the kitchen brigade at Langosteria.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations at the Italian restaurant, executing mise en place and preliminary product preparation (peeling, cutting, washing).
- Participate in the preparation and assembly of dishes, following recipes and plating instructions to ensure a consistent and refined presentation.
- Manage mise en place and assist with timely distribution of dishes during service, maintaining standards of taste, temperature and appearance.
- Receive and check deliveries, assist with stock rotation and basic inventory tasks under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.
- Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of kitchen areas and equipment, comply with HACCP procedures and participate in waste sorting and disposal.
Qualifications
- BEP / CAP / Bac Pro in Culinary Arts or equivalent vocational qualification.
- Familiarity with HACCP hygiene standards and their practical application in a professional kitchen.
- First practical experience in luxury hospitality or a starred restaurant (internship or entry-level role preferred).
- Demonstrable ability to follow recipes and plating instructions with precision.
