Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the Chinese kitchen with precision and creativity, ensuring all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and consistency
  • Develop seasonal specialties and menus that celebrate authentic regional Chinese cuisine and culinary heritage
  • Orchestrate daily kitchen operations while maintaining operational excellence and consistency across all services
  • Select and source exceptional ingredients that preserve the integrity of regional Chinese flavours
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the culinary brigade to deliver exceptional dining experiences and maintain team excellence
  • Collaborate with the broader culinary team to contribute to the continuous evolution of the Maison's gastronomic identity
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards, HACCP protocols, and food cost control measures

Qualifications

  • Professional culinary qualification or degree in Culinary Arts
  • Proven experience as Chinese Chef or Chef de Cuisine within a luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining establishment
  • Strong background in authentic regional Chinese cuisine and demonstrated kitchen leadership experience
  • Advanced mastery of Chinese culinary techniques, ingredients, and regional specialties
  • Strong knowledge of menu development, food cost control, HACCP, and food safety standards
  • Ability to lead kitchen operations while maintaining consistency, quality, and operational excellence
