Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Maître d'Hôtel in orchestrating welcoming atmospheres and exceptional guest experiences throughout room service operations
  • Prepare and organize the point of sale while ensuring HACCP hygiene compliance and adherence to Cheval Blanc service protocols
  • Execute table service with precision and expertise, maintaining Cheval Blanc standards across all guest interactions
  • Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen, wine cellar, stewarding, and kitchen staff to ensure harmonious service flow
  • Serve as an ambassador of the establishment from guest welcome through departure, promoting the restaurant offerings and hotel dining events
  • Anticipate guest needs, address special requests with discretion, and maintain impeccable presentation and demeanor throughout service

Qualifications

  • BEP, CAP, or BAC PRO in Hospitality/Culinary Service
  • Minimum 3 years of verified service experience in luxury hospitality or Michelin-starred establishments
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Point of Sale systems (Micros, La Fourchette) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) required; proficiency in a third language (Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, Portuguese) highly valued
  • HACCP and food safety certification or demonstrated knowledge
  • Advanced wine service knowledge and ability to recommend pairings with sophistication

Experience
