Cheval Blanc Courchevel seeks Chef de Rang - Room Service in Courchevel, France. Lead luxury in-room dining with 3+ years experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead a team of service staff within the Room Service division, ensuring excellence and seamless execution of in-room dining experiences from breakfast through dinner
- Supervise mise en place, service flow, and adherence to LQA (Luxury Quality Assurance) standards whilst maintaining the refined codes of the House
- Anticipate and fulfil guest requirements by leveraging information from various hotel departments and guest profiles to create bespoke, memorable experiences
- Coordinate closely with the Room Service Manager to guide junior commis staff and ensure consistent service quality across all service periods
- Transform each Room Service moment into a harmonious, elegant, and unforgettable guest experience through meticulous attention to detail and coordination
- Maintain highest standards of hygiene and food safety protocols (HACCP) throughout all service operations
Qualifications
- BEP, CAP, or BAC PRO qualification in Hospitality or Culinary Arts
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable experience in a luxury hospitality or Michelin-starred restaurant environment
- Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written)
- Complete mastery of HACCP hygiene and food safety standards
- Proficient in fine dining service techniques and protocols
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision in execution
