Cheval Blanc Paris seeks a Chef de Rang (Restaurant Server) in Paris — luxury hospitality role at the Hakuba restaurant.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a seamless, personalised guest experience from accueil to departure, including seating, cloakroom, table service and bill presentation.
- Assist the Chef de Rang in mise en place and the smooth operation of the station throughout service.
- Ensure strict compliance with HACCP hygiene and food safety procedures and maintain impeccable presentation of the dining area.
- Coordinate and communicate closely with kitchen, stewarding, cellar and larder to guarantee harmonious service.
- Promote the hotel’s restaurants and culinary events to guests and support in upselling where appropriate.
- Contribute to post‑service close‑down, inventory control of service items and upkeep of service documentation and reservation tools.
Qualifications
- Vocational qualification in hospitality/catering (BEP, CAP or Bac Pro restauration) or equivalent professional training.
- Proven experience in luxury hotel or Michelin‑starred restaurant service; minimum three years in a similar standing is required.
- Thorough knowledge of HACCP rules and front‑of‑house operating procedures.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory; mastery of a third language is a strong advantage (Arabic, Russian, Chinese or Portuguese).
- Commercial acumen with demonstrated sales and communication abilities; high standards of courtesy and discretion.

Experience
Minimum 3 years' experience in a luxury hotel or Michelin‑starred restaurant; internships or initial positions in similar establishments are valued for less experienced candidates.
Education
Vocational diploma in hospitality or catering (BEP/CAP/Bac Pro Restauration) or equivalent professional training.
