Cheval Blanc seeks an experienced Chef de Rang in Porto Cervo, Italy to lead restaurant service with excellence and elevate guest experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily service operations for the assigned station, ensuring smooth and efficient guest experiences
- Lead and mentor commis de rang, fostering professional development and a positive service culture
- Anticipate and fulfill guest needs to deliver personalised, memorable dining experiences
- Maintain rigorous adherence to Cheval Blanc's LQA standards and established service procedures (SOP)
- Foster effective communication across hotel departments, particularly with the kitchen, to ensure seamless service synchronisation
- Ensure compliance with payment procedures and safeguard guest and property information
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the service station and dining room
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of significant experience in a similar role at a luxury hotel restaurant or fine dining establishment
- Fluent Italian and English; knowledge of French or additional language is a distinct advantage
- Exceptional hospitality mindset with proactive problem-solving abilities
- Superior communication skills across diverse nationalities and cultural backgrounds
