Cheval Blanc Porto Cervo is hiring a Chef de Rang (temporary) in Porto Cervo, Italy — deliver refined F&B service and manage a dedicated station.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional guest service from first to last impression; professionally manage guest requests, enquiries and complaints.
  • Own and run a designated service station autonomously, ensuring smooth, timely and accurate food and beverage delivery.
  • Maintain immaculate mise en place and service presentation in accordance with the property’s LQA and brand standards.
  • Provide tailored recommendations on menu items and beverages, including wine suggestions; apply upselling and suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest experience.
  • Build and nurture long‑term relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits and loyalty.
  • Handle cash and payment procedures correctly, including billing and invoicing reconciliations.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across F&B and front office to guarantee operational efficiency and service consistency.
  • Participate in team training, follow company policies and report any disciplinary or operational issues to management.

Qualifications

  • Previous food & beverage service experience, preferably within a luxury hotel or high‑end dining environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a flexible, guest‑oriented attitude.
  • Demonstrated team spirit, curiosity and eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Valid EU passport or right to work in Italy.
  • Familiarity with LQA standards or equivalent luxury service protocols preferred.
