About Cheval Blanc
Cheval Blanc Randheli is the Maldives outpost of the Cheval Blanc maison, the luxury hospitality division within the LVMH family. The property is a small, design-led resort that emphasises haute hospitality, artisanal culinary craft and highly personalised service in an intimate island environment.
Cheval Blanc Randheli (Noonu, Maldives) seeks a Chef Baker to craft breads, viennoiserie and bespoke baked goods for the Maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality breads, viennoiseries and baked goods daily, ensuring consistency, freshness and presentation aligned with Maison standards.
- Work under the direction of the Executive Pastry Chef to integrate bakery production into the broader culinary concept and guest offerings.
- Oversee preparation, baking and final presentation of products; enforce portion control, timing and quality checkpoints.
- Adapt recipes and products for guest preferences, private events and seasonal or bespoke service requirements.
- Contribute to recipe development and seasonal creations that reinforce the Maison’s gastronomic identity.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food-safety practices and ensure compliance with on-site standards and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or a professional certificate in pastry-making or baking.
- Proven experience in luxury hotel/resort or fine-dining environments; professional bakery/pastry experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrable mastery of French culinary and pastry techniques.
- Fluent English, both spoken and written.
- Strong attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility and demonstrated team spirit.

Experience
Minimum 3–4 years of professional experience in bakery or pastry; experience within a fine-dining establishment or luxury hotel/resort is required, with at least 2 years in a comparable role.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or a certificate/diploma in pastry-making or professional baking.
