Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes for the staff canteen, following predetermined recipes and menus, ensuring all meals are timely and adapted to special dietary needs and communicated allergies.
  • Manage food supplies and orders, minimizing waste and ensuring ingredient freshness.
  • Strictly apply personal safety and hygiene rules, including safe food handling (HACCP); maintain cleanliness and order in kitchen work areas, ensuring all kitchen equipment functions properly and is clean.
  • Support the Chef de Partie in menu implementation, report directly to the Chef de Partie on all operational and management matters, ensure teamwork, and collaborate effectively with the rest of the kitchen team.
  • Support the philosophy and corporate culture of Hotel Pitrizza, ensuring staff satisfaction and adhering to all hotel policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in similar roles, with excellent knowledge of cooking and food preparation techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge and strict application of HACCP standards in food hygiene and safety.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Italian or English.
  • Proactivity, reliability, precision, strong ability to work under pressure, and strong team collaboration and integration skills.
  • Flexibility in working hours and availability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
