Cheval Blanc St-Barth — Beach Attendant (CDD) in Saint Barthélemy. Full-time beach service role delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Beach Chef to create an inviting beach atmosphere and deliver flawless guest service from arrival to departure.
- Prepare, set up and maintain beach areas and guest relaxation spaces in strict compliance with HACCP hygiene standards.
- Manage provisioning and presentation of beach equipment and refreshment stations to ensure seamless, timely service.
- Serve beverages and light refreshments, supporting the Beach Chef and ensuring presentation meets Cheval Blanc standards.
- Clear and clean relaxation areas during service and ensure housekeeping and maintenance of beach equipment and linens.
- Coordinate closely with kitchen, beach bar, linen room and maintenance teams to guarantee a harmonised service flow.
- Promote the hotel's restaurants and gastronomic events to guests while acting as an ambassador of the maison.
Qualifications
- Vocational diploma in catering/hospitality (BEP/CAP/BAC Pro or equivalent).
- Knowledge of luxury hospitality or experience in high-end/ Michelin-starred restaurant environments preferred.
- Demonstrable mastery of HACCP hygiene standards.
- Fluent spoken and written French and English.
- Solid command of professional service techniques and beach service operations.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level; previous internships or at least one season/position in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment is appreciated but not mandatory.
Education
BEP/CAP/BAC Pro in Catering, Hospitality or equivalent vocational qualification.
