Cheval Blanc Porto Cervo seeks a Beach & Pool Commis (temporary, on-site) to deliver exceptional poolside and beach F&B service in Sardinia.

Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt, polite and anticipatory guest service across the beach, pool and beach bar areas, upholding Cheval Blanc service standards (LQA).
- Prepare and serve beverages and simple snacks according to beach bar procedures and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain continuous cleanliness, order and presentation of the beach, pool and bar areas; assist with set-up and closing of service.
- Take and process guest orders efficiently and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Be familiar with the menu to describe items and make appropriate recommendations to guests.
- Support inventory control and stock replenishment for beach and pool operations.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with F&B colleagues and management to coordinate service flow.
- Adhere strictly to hygiene and safety regulations, including HACCP requirements.
- Handle minor guest requests and resolve routine service issues with professionalism.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience in beach, poolside or bar service in a luxury or upscale hospitality environment.
- Fluent spoken Italian and English; additional language (e.g., French) is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of hygiene and safety standards (HACCP) and food handling procedures.
- Strong guest-service orientation with polished interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and agility to work outdoors and on one’s feet for extended periods; flexibility to work variable hours.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to support setup, service and closing duties reliably.
- Attention to detail and rigour in maintaining presentation and cleanliness standards.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in beach, pool or bar service within an upscale or luxury hospitality setting.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in hospitality/F&B preferred.
