Cheval Blanc Paris is hiring a Bar Intern in Paris — luxury hospitality internship at Cheval Blanc Paris with training in mixology and guest service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests at the bar following the Maison’s service codes and standards.
- Support the bar team in the preparation and presentation of cocktails, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Assist with mise en place, stock rotation and point-of-sale operations during service.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation and hygiene of the bar area in accordance with HACCP standards.
- Develop guest relations through attentive service, suggestive selling and personalised recommendations under the supervision of experienced bartenders.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a hospitality/restaurant training programme.
- Knowledge of HACCP hygiene rules and safe food handling practices.
- Demonstrated customer-service orientation, courtesy and professional deportment suitable for luxury hospitality.
- Flexible availability, strong teamwork, high attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
- Working knowledge of English (written and spoken).
Skills
Experience
Entry-level internship: no prior professional bar experience required. Candidate should be prepared to learn on the job under the guidance of an experienced bar team and to participate in all aspects of bar service.
Education
Enrolment in or recent completion of a diploma or certificate in hospitality, hotel management or culinary/restaurant training.
