Cheval Blanc Paris seeks an experienced Bar Commis for Langosteria restaurant. Luxury hospitality role in Paris, France.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the head bartender in creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining service excellence across all beverage stations
- Ensure compliance with HACCP hygiene standards; prepare and organize points of sale with meticulous cleaning and setup according to Cheval Blanc protocols
- Manage point-of-sale inventory and supply replenishment to guarantee flawless service flow
- Actively participate in food and beverage service, supporting the chef de rang and ensuring tailored presentation aligned with Cheval Blanc standards
- Execute clearing and cleaning duties throughout service; maintain constant dining room cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance of service equipment
- Coordinate and communicate with kitchen, storeroom, wine cellar, and stewarding teams to harmonize service operations
- Contribute to creating memorable guest experiences from welcome through departure; promote restaurant offerings and hotel dining events
- Demonstrate exceptional hospitality and representativeness as a brand ambassador
Qualifications
- BEP, CAP, or BAC PRO in Hospitality or Culinary Arts
- Demonstrated experience in luxury hospitality or Michelin-starred restaurant environments
- Minimum one prior internship or entry-level position in a comparable establishment
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Micros POS system, and La Fourchette reservation platform
- Knowledge of a third language valued (Arabic, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese)

Minimum 3 years of significant service experience required in an establishment of equivalent standing; prior internship or entry-level position in a luxury or starred restaurant environment.
Education
BEP, CAP, or BAC PRO in Restauration (Hospitality/Culinary Arts)
