Cheval Blanc Courchevel seeks an Assistant Technical Manager in Courchevel, France. Full-time role maintaining five-star hotel facilities and operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with technical and safety regulations and legal frameworks
  • Monitor and maintain water treatment procedures and hygiene protocols
  • Conduct daily inspections of technical installations to prevent malfunctions
  • Collaborate with hotel departments (guest services, food & beverage, kitchen, support functions) and coordinate maintenance work and interventions
  • Oversee maintenance of staff accommodations during pre-season and throughout the operational season
  • Monitor maintenance budgets (contracts, procurement) and departmental expenditure
  • Manage relationships with external contractors and subcontractors
  • Process and manage tenders for technical interventions and capital works
  • Maintain and organize inventory of maintenance materials and tools
  • Organize and schedule the work of technical services ambassadors
  • Conduct performance evaluations for technical team members
  • Apply LQA (LVMH Quality Assurance) standards daily
  • Implement fire safety and evacuation procedures in response to alerts

Qualifications

  • Current electrical qualification (habilitation électrique)
  • CAP or BAC PRO in maintenance-related field (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, or similar)
  • Minimum 3 years of confirmed experience in a similar luxury hospitality establishment
  • Fluent French (written and oral)
  • Working knowledge of English
  • Mastery of safety standards and regulations
