Cheval Blanc Courchevel seeks an Assistant Technical Manager in Courchevel, France. Full-time role maintaining five-star hotel facilities and operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with technical and safety regulations and legal frameworks
- Monitor and maintain water treatment procedures and hygiene protocols
- Conduct daily inspections of technical installations to prevent malfunctions
- Collaborate with hotel departments (guest services, food & beverage, kitchen, support functions) and coordinate maintenance work and interventions
- Oversee maintenance of staff accommodations during pre-season and throughout the operational season
- Monitor maintenance budgets (contracts, procurement) and departmental expenditure
- Manage relationships with external contractors and subcontractors
- Process and manage tenders for technical interventions and capital works
- Maintain and organize inventory of maintenance materials and tools
- Organize and schedule the work of technical services ambassadors
- Conduct performance evaluations for technical team members
- Apply LQA (LVMH Quality Assurance) standards daily
- Implement fire safety and evacuation procedures in response to alerts
Qualifications
- Current electrical qualification (habilitation électrique)
- CAP or BAC PRO in maintenance-related field (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, or similar)
- Minimum 3 years of confirmed experience in a similar luxury hospitality establishment
- Fluent French (written and oral)
- Working knowledge of English
- Mastery of safety standards and regulations

Minimum 3 years of confirmed experience in a similar luxury hospitality establishment or equivalent technical maintenance environment. Professional background in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, or related trades is essential.
Education
CAP (Certificat d'Aptitude Professionnelle) or BAC PRO (Baccalauréat Professionnel) in a maintenance-related discipline.
