Cheval Blanc Paris seeks an Assistant Security and Safety Director in Paris, France to lead luxury hospitality security operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing and overseeing fire safety and security operations in coordination with external security providers to ensure continuous protection of guests, staff, contractors, and assets
- Conduct operational monitoring of security contractor performance and ensure proper execution of assigned security missions and protocols
- Evaluate quality of security services delivered and recommend corrective actions to maintain operational excellence
- Develop, implement, and enforce security procedures, standards, and protocols across all functions including access control, surveillance, perimeter security, emergency response, and facility inspections
- Ensure compliance with public safety regulations, building codes, and LVMH property standards through regular audits and documentation review
- Maintain and update all mandatory security registers and compliance documentation
- Prepare for, organize, and track outcomes of official safety commissions and address any identified deficiencies or prescriptions
- Execute and supervise routine security patrols throughout the property in accordance with established procedures
- Monitor and verify proper functioning of all security systems including access control, CCTV, fire alarm systems, and emergency communication equipment
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance and regulatory inspections of security installations and equipment
- Conduct and oversee first aid and emergency response training for staff; coordinate the network of emergency evacuation marshals and guides
- Deliver security awareness, fire safety, emergency procedures, and first aid training to all staff and guests
- Disseminate security protocols and best practices across all departments to foster a culture of safety
- Manage access credentials including keys, badges, and access cards while maintaining compliance with data protection regulations
- Track and report on security performance metrics, dashboards, and compliance indicators
- Ensure effective communication with all departments to maintain and strengthen security culture throughout the property
- Contribute to continuous improvement of security systems and protocols based on operational experience and regulatory updates
- Report any security anomalies, accident risks, or matters affecting guest safety or the property's reputation to management
Qualifications
- SSIAP 2 and SSIAP 3 fire safety certifications
- Valid professional security card
- Current First Aid or PSE 1 certification
- Minimum three years of experience in luxury hospitality security operations
- Demonstrated expertise in fire safety, access control systems, and emergency management
- Proficiency in English (written and oral)
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Management experience with security teams of twenty or more personnel

Minimum three years of hands-on experience in luxury hospitality security, fire safety, or facilities management. Demonstrated knowledge of high-end hotel security operations, regulatory compliance frameworks, and emergency management protocols required.
Education
SSIAP 2 and SSIAP 3 fire safety certifications required. First Aid or PSE 1 certification required. Secondary education minimum; technical qualification in security or fire safety is an asset.
