Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily Front Office operations to ensure a seamless, efficient service at arrival, during stay and at departure.
- Lead and develop reception staff, fostering professional growth and a positive, service-oriented team culture.
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs to maximise satisfaction and deliver tailored experiences in line with LQA standards.
- Support the Front Office Manager in rota planning, resource allocation and operational decision-making to maintain departmental efficiency.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to LQA service standards and the hotel’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain clear, timely communication with all hotel departments to ensure smooth cross-functional service delivery.
- Manage Property Management System (PMS) entries, produce Front Office reports and analyse performance metrics.
- Ensure secure handling of guest information and compliance with cash-handling and payment procedures.
- Preserve cleanliness, order and presentation of the reception and lobby to create an elegant and functional environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years' progressive experience in Front Office roles within luxury hotels, with supervisory responsibilities.
- Proven aptitude for guest service excellence and proactive problem resolution under high-pressure conditions.
- Strong organisational skills, with demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with international clientele and multicultural teams.
- Fluent Italian and English; proficiency in a third language (e.g., French) is a strong advantage.
