Join Cheval Blanc Seychelles as an Assistant Cost Controller in Mahé, Seychelles. This role involves monitoring supply processes, managing discrepancies, and supporting the cost control team in a luxury resort environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor weekly supply unloading, receiving, and storing processes.
- Oversee daily issues in stores and ensure resolution.
- Check receiving, spoilage, and discrepancy reports regularly.
- Verify all store issues and Goods Received Notes (GRN) booked in the Material Control (MC) system.
- Complete all inter-department transfers in the MC system daily.
- Create new articles in the MC system upon departmental requests.
- Conduct outlet spot checks and report discrepancies to the cost controller.
- Maintain a close working relationship with the Food and Beverage Manager, Executive Chef, and Purchasing Manager to address potential problems or opportunities.
- Provide leave cover for the Cost Controller during absences.
- Supervise monthly stock takes and investigate any variances.
- Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or a Diploma in a relevant field.
- Proven track record of cost controlling in a resort or hotel environment.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level experience in cost controlling within a resort or hotel environment is required.
Education
High School Diploma or a Diploma in a relevant field.
Workplace
