Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chief Engineer and Director of Engineering in maintaining technical excellence across the property.
  • Ensure reliability and performance of key areas including Kitchens, Laundry, HVAC, Villas, Spa, and public spaces.
  • Implement structured preventive maintenance programs and ensure equipment and infrastructure are in optimal condition.
  • Supervise and guide engineering teams, promoting discipline and clarity.
  • Drive cost control, energy efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role within a luxury resort.
  • Strong background in kitchen, laundry, HVAC, plant, and building maintenance operations.
  • Experience in managing budgets, preventive maintenance programs, and technical teams.

Skills

Solid technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and building systems. Strong knowledge of life safety systems, fire protection, and environmental standards. Ability to manage budgets, contracts, warranties, and inventory control with accuracy. Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset. Calm and decisive during operational challenges. Collaborative leadership with a focus on team development. Commitment to sustainability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years in a senior engineering leadership role within a luxury resort.
