Cheval Blanc Paris seeks Kitchen Apprentice for Michelin-starred restaurants under chef Arnaud Donckels. Paris, France. Apprenticeship contract.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing dishes and maintaining kitchen operations throughout the brigade
  • Perform preliminary food preparation tasks including peeling, cutting, and washing, and receive incoming deliveries
  • Contribute to dish conception and elaboration by following instructions and applying culinary techniques learned
  • Participate in plating and dish distribution, ensuring refined presentation and adherence to plating standards
  • Maintain a clean and functional workstation, kitchen spaces, and all equipment to uphold hygiene and safety standards
  • Support the kitchen brigade in delivering an exceptional gastronomic experience to guests

Qualifications

  • CAP (Certificat d'Aptitude Professionnelle), BEP (Brevet d'Études Professionnelles), or BP (Brevet Professionnel) in Culinary Arts or equivalent
  • Experience in a comparable fine dining or upscale hospitality establishment
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, classical and contemporary recipes, and premium ingredients
  • Proficiency in food safety and kitchen hygiene standards

Experience
