Accounting Intern at Cheval Blanc Paris luxury hotel; support Finance Department with AP/AR operations and monthly close procedures.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support daily accounts payable and receivable operations, including delivery note processing and supplier invoice entry and tracking
- Monitor and reconcile vendor accounts, verify accounting entries, and review concierge disbursements for accuracy
- Manage client-side accounting, including invoice verification, travel agency commission processing, petty cash oversight, and inter-company transactions
- Perform quality control checks on accounting documentation, identify discrepancies, and escalate exceptions appropriately
- Assist with monthly close procedures, document classification, and archiving of accounting records
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accounting, finance, or management degree program (Bac+2 to Bac+5 level) or hospitality school with finance specialization
- Strong foundation in accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency with Excel and general office software
- Ability to reconcile and verify accounting details with high accuracy
- Prior internship or work-study experience in accounting is preferred

Education
Undergraduate or graduate student in accounting, finance, business administration, or hospitality management with accounting specialization (Bac+2 to Bac+5 equivalent).
