Cheval Blanc (LVMH) in Paris seeks an Accounting Generalist — full-time permanent role supporting hotel accounting, AR/AP and month-end close.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Accountant in daily financial orchestration and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
- Manage accounts receivable: prepare and dispatch client invoices, follow up on receivables and monitor agency commissions.
- Process supplier invoices through the electronic invoicing system and ensure timely accounts payable handling.
- Record payments, deposits and expense reports; post banking transactions and perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Contribute to monthly and annual closings, including preparation and control of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of client and supplier accounting procedures.
- Coordinate with operational departments (economat, F&B, front office) and external hotel clients to guarantee smooth financial operations.
Qualifications
- Higher education in accounting (Bac +2/3 or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years' relevant accounting experience; prior exposure to hotel or luxury hospitality accounting preferred.
- Knowledge of the Uniform System of Account for Hospitality Industry (USALI) reporting standards.
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office (Pack Office); experience with Sage1000 and familiarity with Materials Control is highly desirable.
- Excellent oral and written communication, strong analytical and synthesis skills, and rigorous attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions, demonstrating flexibility, availability and responsiveness.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in hotel accounting or luxury hospitality environments, with demonstrated competence in AR/AP, bank reconciliations and month-end closing cycles.
Education
Higher education in accounting (Bac +2/3 or equivalent).
