Role & Responsibilities

• Safeguard and perpetuate Chaumet's hallmark excellence in high jewelry craftsmanship across all atelier disciplines
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of approximately 20 artisans organized by specialized departments (jewelry-making, setting, polishing)
• Organize work allocation and production scheduling in alignment with team capabilities, competencies, and specific project requirements
• Collaborate closely with creative, design, and commercial departments to translate collections into finished pieces
• Manage team performance evaluations, identify skill advancement opportunities, and foster motivation and accountability
• Plan and optimize production workflows to reduce lead times and operational costs while maintaining quality standards
• Oversee budget management including operational expenses, tools, materials, and equipment procurement and maintenance
• Monitor key performance indicators and production metrics to maximize productivity and operational efficiency
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality procedures, and regulatory compliance standards
• Identify and implement necessary investments in equipment and workshop improvements
• Support recruitment efforts and manage external artisanal partnerships when production capacity expansion is required

Qualifications

• Initial training in jewelry-making or equivalent formal qualification in fine jewelry craftsmanship
• Minimum 20 years of professional experience in the high jewelry or fine jewelry sector
• Proven management experience leading artisanal teams in a luxury craftsmanship environment
• Demonstrated expertise in workshop operations, production planning, and quality control
• Strong budget management and financial stewardship capabilities
