Chaumet — Paris: Workshop Management Assistant (High Jewellery) work‑study position supporting atelier operations and SAP processes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Workshop Management & Performance lead in daily operational and logistical tasks within the High Jewellery atelier.
- Execute SAP transactions: create and release subcontractor purchase orders and perform reception operations.
- Create manufacturing orders originating from development using SAP and NEO FUGU.
- Manage orders and inventory of gemstones and metals through SAP, ensuring traceability and stock accuracy.
- Control and organise inbound and outbound material flows for the atelier, maintaining operational continuity.
- Monitor worker hours via NEO FUGU and contribute to productivity analysis.
- Classify and maintain product dossiers and workshop documentation to established standards.
- Assist with metal management procedures (receipts, withdrawals, police log, control log, weighing checks, titration analyses) in compliance with management control rules.
- Support allocation of metal, castings and findings to jewellers and manage atelier supply provisioning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor-level degree (Bac+3) in engineering, business, logistics, or equivalent university qualification with logistics orientation.
- Interest in high jewellery and luxury manufacturing processes.
- Rigorous, methodical, proactive and responsive approach to operational tasks.
- Strong affinity for information systems; comfortable with ERP environments and advanced Excel use.
- Good command of English; additional language skills an asset.
- Prior experience in the luxury sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with SAP and Power BI is a plus.
