Chaumet seeks Supply and Logistics Administrator in Dubai. Manage data, customs, and reporting for Middle East logistics operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and timely data entry for all logistics activities including shipments, inventory movements, and vendor information, ensuring data integrity across all platforms
  • Execute precise system work for inventory and stock movement tracking and reconciliation using relevant logistics and ERP software
  • Maintain up-to-date records in inventory and logistics systems in compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Lead packaging forecasting and replenishment processes to optimize inventory and minimize stockouts
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customs follow-up and coordination for all inbound and outbound shipments
  • Prepare and manage all documentation for customs declarations, import/export permits, and shipping requirements
  • Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to resolve issues and optimize processes
  • Develop, maintain, and improve comprehensive logistics reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel using advanced functions, pivot tables, and Macros to analyze logistics data
  • Present clear reports to the Head of Supply and Logistics highlighting trends, anomalies, and recommendations for improvement
  • Provide administrative support to the Distribution Planner and Logistics Specialist
  • Coordinate and follow up on the supply of critical items
  • Support planning and execution of seasonal and campaign logistics
  • Identify opportunities to streamline logistics and supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, business administration, finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in logistics administration, coordination, or related supply chain role, preferably within luxury retail or similar industry
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions, pivot tables, and demonstrated experience with Macros for automation and reporting
  • Excellent data entry skills with emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of customs procedures, import/export regulations, and international shipping documentation
  • Familiarity with inventory management principles and logistics software/ERP systems
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks while managing time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
