Chaumet seeks Supply and Logistics Administrator in Dubai. Luxury jewellery maison hiring for permanent, on-site role in Middle East supply chain operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely data entry for all logistics-related activities, including shipments, inventory movements, and vendor information, ensuring data integrity across all platforms
- Execute precise system work for inventory and stock movement tracking, reconciliation, and record maintenance using relevant ERP software
- Lead packaging forecasting and replenishment processes to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts
- Act as primary point of contact for customs follow-up and coordination for all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely clearance and regulatory compliance
- Prepare and manage all necessary customs documentation, import/export permits, and shipping requirements
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to resolve issues and optimize shipment processes
- Develop, maintain, and improve comprehensive logistics reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators such as delivery times, costs, and inventory accuracy
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions, pivot tables, and Macros to analyze complex logistics data and extract actionable insights
- Present clear and concise reports to senior management highlighting trends, anomalies, and recommendations for process improvements
- Provide administrative support to the Distribution Planner and Logistics Specialist to ensure smooth daily operations
- Coordinate and follow up on the supply of critical items
- Support planning and execution of seasonal and campaign logistics initiatives to ensure timely product delivery
- Identify opportunities for streamlining logistics and supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, business administration, finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in logistics administration, coordination, or related supply chain roles, preferably within luxury retail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and demonstrated experience with Macros
- Excellent data entry skills with strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
- Solid understanding of customs procedures, import/export regulations, and international shipping documentation
- Familiarity with inventory management principles and logistics software/ERP systems
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders

Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in logistics administration, coordination, or related supply chain roles, preferably within luxury retail or similar industry environments. Demonstrated expertise in managing logistics operations, coordinating with third-party providers, and leveraging ERP systems for data management and reporting.
