Chaumet seeks a Sales Advisor in Paris to represent the prestigious jewelry maison, build client relationships, and drive boutique sales performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Embody Chaumet's values and heritage by welcoming clients warmly and authentically, sharing the maison's 240-year legacy of excellence and savoir-faire
- Deliver tailored jewelry selections and personalized sales recommendations that create memorable client experiences
- Achieve sales objectives and contribute to the boutique's commercial success through strategic client recruitment and retention
- Actively develop and maintain the client database, creating comprehensive client profiles and tracking customer interactions
- Cultivate a personal portfolio of clients by identifying post-sale opportunities and maintaining consistent, meaningful engagement
- Propose relevant jewelry selections for special occasions and secure client attendance at Maison events and activations
- Collaborate with the team to achieve collective boutique objectives and participate actively in team meetings, challenges, and promotional activities
- Monitor performance indicators and gather client feedback to inform operational improvements
- Ensure compliance with security protocols, cash procedures, and inventory management guidelines
- Contribute to visual merchandising activities, including window and counter displays in coordination with the Visual Merchandising team
- Manage stock replenishment and display maintenance in liaison with the central warehouse and network boutiques
- Coordinate customer service and after-sales support in collaboration with the International Customer Service team
Qualifications
- 3–4 years of professional experience in commercial or sales roles within the luxury and jewelry sectors
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with a proven track record of meeting sales targets
- Strong passion for jewelry and deep familiarity with Chaumet's brand identity and heritage
- Excellent interpersonal skills, active listening ability, and empathy
- Cultural sensitivity and natural storytelling ability
- Fluent French and English; proficiency in an additional language is advantageous
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace environment
Skills
Experience
3–4 years of professional experience in a commercial or sales function within the luxury and jewelry industries. Beginners with exceptional commercial aptitude and a strong passion for jewelry may be considered.
Education
Secondary education (Bac) or equivalent; further education in luxury retail, hospitality, or business administration is advantageous but not required.
