Role & Responsibilities

• Define and deploy the retail learning strategy for the European zone (France, UK, Spain, Italy), aligning content with commercial objectives and brand standards.
• Design, produce and maintain engaging training content covering product knowledge, selling techniques, customer service and managerial coaching.
• Plan and coordinate regional training calendars and logistical delivery, adapting programs to local market nuances and cultural sensitivities.
• Embed a coaching culture among store managers by training managerial coaches and integrating coaching tools into everyday management routines.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure program effectiveness, analyse learning data and produce actionable insights to improve commercial performance.
• Collaborate closely with regional, central, retail, wholesale and HR stakeholders and subject-matter experts to ensure alignment and uptake.
• Drive continuous improvement by researching L&D trends, piloting innovative methodologies (e‑learning, gamification, immersive content) and scaling successful initiatives.
• Line‑manage and mentor an apprentice (alternant) linked to the training function.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in learning & development or retail training roles within luxury retail; experience in high‑jewelry or watchmaking strongly preferred.
• Fluency in French and English (working languages for the role).
• Proven experience designing and implementing regional training programmes and managing multi‑market rollouts.
• Demonstrable commercial orientation with a track record of using training to drive sales and service KPIs.
• Experience with digital learning tools (LMS), gamification and immersive content; familiarity with e‑learning production workflows.
• Coaching certification or formal coach training is a strong advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder management, project management and data‑driven evaluation skills.

Experience

At least 10 years in a similar training or L&D role within luxury retail with regional remit across European markets (France, UK, Spain, Italy); demonstrable experience linking learning programmes to commercial outcomes.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Education, Business or a related field preferred; additional certification in coaching or instructional design is an advantage.
