Chaumet seeks Product Development Project Manager in Nyon, Switzerland. Lead luxury watch and jewelry development with 5+ years experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Analyze and assess the feasibility of new product briefs, proposing optimizations and alternatives as needed
  • Conduct cost-of-goods analysis to ensure marketing objectives and profitability targets are met
  • Identify and anticipate project risks (technical feasibility, costs, timeline) in collaboration with the project team
  • Establish optimized development timelines according to standard protocols and project-specific constraints
  • Coordinate all project actions and communications with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Monitor project lifecycle including schedule adherence, quote analysis, and aesthetic and technical evolution
  • Maintain comprehensive project tracking tools and reporting systems; escalate alerts and risks to management
  • Lead and align multi-site project teams through regular progress updates and effective cross-functional management
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers and partners, including negotiation, sourcing, and development reporting
  • Oversee the entire project development cycle with manufacturing workshops from prototype through pre-series validation to launch
  • Demonstrate agility and activate appropriate levers to meet project deadlines while maintaining aesthetic, quality, and cost standards
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and propose actionable solutions

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Development Project Manager, ideally in horology and/or high jewelry
  • Bachelor's degree (BAC+5) from a business school, engineering school, or equivalent university program
  • Fluent English (professional level) required
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and align multidisciplinary project teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software preferred
  • Strong problem-solving orientation with the ability to anticipate and mitigate project blockers

Experience
