Chaumet China seeks experienced PR & Employee Relations Manager in Shanghai to lead strategic communications and brand initiatives in luxury market.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic public relations campaigns tailored to the Chinese market, ensuring consistent brand messaging and alignment with global luxury positioning
  • Manage media relations and coordinate with key influencers, journalists, and industry stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and reputation
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of high-profile brand events, product launches, and experiential activations
  • Monitor brand reputation and manage crisis communications to protect and enhance the company's image
  • Lead internal communications initiatives and employee engagement programs to foster a cohesive organizational culture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across creative, merchandising, retail, and corporate departments to ensure integrated communication strategies
  • Analyze PR metrics, media coverage, and campaign performance to optimize future initiatives and demonstrate ROI

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in public relations, corporate communications, or related disciplines within luxury, fashion, or high-end consumer sectors
  • Demonstrated expertise in Chinese market dynamics, media landscape, and cultural nuances
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR campaigns and brand positioning strategies
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and external agencies
