Chaumet Paris seeks an Operations Director for its Executive Committee to lead industrial strategy, supply chain, and operational excellence in luxury jewelry manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute industrial and operational strategy, roadmap, and investments aligned with the maison's ambitions; pilot S&OP, risk management, and transformations to align demand, production capacity, inventory, and financial trajectory
- Lead the complete cycle of product development, industrialization, and production for Jewelry, High Jewelry, and Watches collections from initial conception through series production, ensuring technical feasibility, cost control, procurement of industrial materials and gemstones, workshop and partner capacity, and preservation of artisanal excellence
- Oversee forecasting, planning, supply procurement, distribution, and inventory levels to ensure optimal product availability; guarantee end-to-end logistics performance, transportation, customs compliance, and import-export operations within strict cost and deadline parameters
- Ensure impeccable product quality from development through after-sales care (Care services), rigorous compliance with maison standards, and continuous improvement; monitor key performance indicators across service, quality, costs, inventory, timeline, and productivity
- Drive budgets, financial performance, and environmental and social responsibility (CSR) commitments within the Operations scope; lead in-depth process transformation, organizational redesign, data governance, and digital tool integration
- Lead, federate, and develop operational teams; set objectives, track performance, and foster seamless cross-functional collaboration across all business units and leadership
Qualifications
- Master's-level degree from an engineering school, business school, or equivalent (Bac+5 minimum)
- Minimum 10 years of confirmed, successful experience in operations management within a demanding, manufacturing, or luxury environment
- Demonstrated expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams and steering complex organizational structures
- Comprehensive expertise spanning supply chain, industrial operations, logistics, quality, and performance management
- Strong personal qualities: natural leadership, rigor, strategic vision, and exceptional collaboration skills
- Advanced proficiency with operational management tools and information systems; SAP knowledge is highly desirable
- Fluent English

Minimum 10 years of confirmed and successful experience in operations management, acquired in a demanding manufacturing or luxury environment. Demonstrated expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams and piloting complex organizations.
Education
Master's-level degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school, business school, or equivalent qualification.
