Chaumet Paris seeks Master Jeweler for Haute Joaillerie workshop. Bespoke jewelry craftsmanship role requiring 3+ years experience and formal jewelry training.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute bespoke and limited-edition jewelry pieces according to technical specifications, materials, and gemstone dimensions
  • Select and apply appropriate fabrication techniques including stone settings, calibrated components, bezels, lost-wax casting, and complex systems
  • Verify piece conformity against specifications prior to setting and polishing, ensuring adherence to quotations and house standards
  • Participate in restoration of heritage pieces and the maison's patrimony
  • Collaborate with technical mentors to achieve and maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship
  • Evaluate and manage personal workflow while maintaining autonomy and accountability

Qualifications

  • Diploma in jewelry-making or related arts discipline (CAP or BMA minimum)
  • Minimum three years' professional experience in haute joaillerie
  • Advanced ability to interpret technical drawings and translate them into three-dimensional form
  • Demonstrated mastery and appreciation of hand-crafted techniques
