Chaumet — Paris: Management Control Assistant (work-study). Support budgeting, SAP/Cegid IFRS reporting and internal controls across Europe.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support budget construction and maintenance of budget files; prepare and enhance analysis files to ensure accurate cost monitoring.
  • Prepare and analyse key financial performance indicators and ad hoc analyses (maintenance, marketing, travel costs) to inform regional cost control.
  • Contribute to monthly close reporting for P&L, balance sheet and cash flow under IFRS, using consolidation tools alongside SAP and Cegid.
  • Liaise with local accounting partners to resolve closing or reporting queries.
  • Ensure adherence to internal control procedures across European boutiques and head‑office departments; document finance procedures and perform control testing.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with retail, wholesale, training, HR, and marketing/communication teams to support financial governance.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in final year of a business school or engineering programme with a specialisation in finance or management control.
  • Ideal: prior internship or first experience in finance (management control, financial control, audit).
  • Rigorous, organised and autonomous with strong analytical and synthesis capabilities.
  • Adaptable team player with a curious mindset and willingness to expand responsibilities.
  • Fluent English required; advanced proficiency in Excel.
