Chaumet (LVMH) seeks Junior Designer for Paris jewelry design studio internship. Execute technical drawings, gouache paintings, and 3D renderings under senior mentorship.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute technical line work in Adobe Illustrator from designer briefs and photographic references
- Refine and vectorize CAO-derived sketches in Illustrator and prepare production-ready layouts at 1:1 scale
- Produce traditional gouache paintings adhering to Maison standards and execute rapid digital colorizations using markers, watercolor, and Adobe Photoshop
- Scan, retouch, and prepare gouaches and digital renderings for presentation and archive
- Create exploratory sketches and research designs during collection development phases
- Perform Photoshop retouching and digital montages to support design concept refinement
- Execute precise hand-drawn and digital technical tracings on Illustrator
- Produce 3D CAO volumes and prepare hand-rendered or digital presentation materials for executive review
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or recent graduate of an arts school program with relevant CAP and/or BAC qualification
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong three-dimensional spatial reasoning and aesthetic sensibility
- Portfolio demonstrating jewelry design or related creative work required for application
- Prior experience working in a design studio team on collection development projects is advantageous

Entry-level candidates with emerging design skills; prior exposure to jewelry studio environments or collaborative collection design projects is preferred but not required.
Education
Current enrollment in or recent completion of an arts school degree; CAP and/or BAC qualification strongly preferred.
