Chaumet seeks IT Project Manager for Retail to lead CEGID Y2 POS operations across 96 stores. Paris-based, hybrid role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the resolution of Level 2 and Level 3 incidents across the CEGID Y2 ecosystem, liaising with internal teams and the shared external support resource at the Watches & Jewellery division level
- Maintain privileged relationships with local IT teams across all geographic zones (APAC, Japan, China), ensuring reactive incident management and comprehensive impact analysis
- Ensure continuous compliance of all retail locations with the latest non-functional requirements, including CEGID Y2 version updates, connector implementations, regulatory compliance (fiscal and legal), security standards, and group conformity mandates
- Collect, analyse, and prioritise user stories and business evolution requirements from store-level personnel and central business teams, translating these into clear, concise specifications for the external development partner
- Serve as the principal contact for the external shared team's backlog and actively participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, refinement) to represent the maison's strategic interests
- Pilot delivery quality and actively drive continuous improvement of the POS solution across the entire retail ecosystem
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional project leads on transverse initiatives (S4 deployment, new customer services, omnichannel expansion) to identify and coordinate necessary POS adaptations
- Establish and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for all maintenance and development activities
- Prepare and chair monthly Retail POS steering meetings with market representatives
- Participate actively in maison-level steering committees and quarterly Watches & Jewellery division committees chaired by the shared factory
- Maintain and update functional and technical documentation, ensuring that all delivered releases are accurately documented via release notes
- Contribute to the development of training materials and support business and end-user teams during major deployments and system evolutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus four additional years of education (BAC +4/5) in engineering, business school, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a technical-functional project manager specialising in retail information systems within an international environment
- Demonstrated expertise with CEGID Y2 point-of-sale systems, including fixed POS and mobile applications
- Deep understanding of retail business challenges, objectives, and operational complexities
- Proven proficiency in agile project management methodologies with strong structure and discipline
- Knowledge of IT architectures and system integration frameworks
- Leadership capability and demonstrated ability to federate cross-functional internal and external teams
- Strong client service orientation with measurable results delivery
- Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholder groups across multiple organisational levels
