Chaumet, LVMH jewelry maison in Paris, seeks Financial Control Assistant for apprenticeship (Sept 2026). Finance, SAP, reporting, IFRS.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the development and improvement of budget construction files and actual performance analysis to ensure accurate financial tracking and KPI maintenance for cost centers including marketing, travel, and facilities
- Participate in monthly P&L closing reporting, balance sheet preparation, and cash flow statement analysis using consolidation tools (SAP, Cegid) in compliance with IFRS standards; collaborate with local accounting partners on technical inquiries
- Ensure adherence to internal control procedures across European retail stores and operational departments; document finance-related processes and conduct testing activities in coordination with retail, wholesale, training, HR, and marketing/communications teams
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a final-year business school or engineering program with specialization in finance, management accounting, or financial control
- Previous internship or practical experience in financial control, financial audit, or a related finance function
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and intermediate to advanced analytical capabilities
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Hybrid working arrangement (3 weeks on-site / 1 week academic schedule)
