Chaumet Finance Control Assistant internship in Paris; six-month role supporting financial reporting and internal controls across European operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in improving budget construction files and actual performance analysis to ensure accurate financial tracking
- Prepare and analyze key financial performance indicators and relevant analyses for cost monitoring, including maintenance dashboards, marketing expenses, and travel costs
- Participate in monthly closing reporting using consolidation tools, SAP, and Cegid for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements in accordance with IFRS standards
- Collaborate with local accounting partners on financial inquiries and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures across European retail locations and all other departments
- Document finance-related procedures and conduct testing across all European departments including retail, wholesale, training, HR, and marketing/communications
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a final-year (5ème année) business school or engineering school program with specialization in finance or management control
- Ideally possessing initial experience in finance, such as management control, financial control, or audit
- Demonstrated rigor and organizational skills with recognized autonomy and strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Adaptability and team-oriented mindset
- Fluent English proficiency and Excel proficiency required
