Chaumet internship: CAO Designer & Prototyping Assistant in Paris. Six-month stage in high jewelry design and prototype development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Create and refine resin prototypes using advanced prototyping technologies including Phrozen, DWS, and Raise machines
  • Apply aesthetic and technical finishes to prototype models, including diamond simulation through stone setting
  • Prepare and optimize digital files for prototype production across all technologies
  • Assemble and finish resin components with precision and attention to detail
  • Support jewelry and high jewelry product development by integrating aesthetic, technical, and manufacturing constraints
  • Propose innovative design solutions that align with production capabilities and brand specifications
  • Manage and archive all technical documentation including technical drawings, prototype specifications, and project files

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in prototyping across multiple technologies
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software, particularly Rhinoceros or Alias
  • Strong knowledge of office software suite
  • Experience with Zbrush, Solidworks, or equivalent 3D modeling tools preferred
  • Initiative, curiosity, and dynamic problem-solving orientation
  • Strong interpersonal and technical communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across internal and external teams
  • Adaptability, rigor, and reliability in project execution
