Chaumet Paris seeks Assistant Store Manager for luxury jewelry boutique at department store. Lead sales teams, drive revenue, manage client experiences. Full-time, permanent role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to achieving boutique performance objectives and KPIs through direct client engagement, sales participation, and customer service delivery
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, propose action plans, deploy solutions, and track results with ad-hoc reporting
- Lead the sales floor as a team leader, streamline customer reception, optimize the client journey, and provide team support during client submissions
- Manage customer disputes in alignment with Chaumet's commercial policies and coordinate clienteling activities with the Europe CRM team
- Organize and oversee high jewelry events in coordination with European headquarters and Place Vendôme teams, including client invitations and guest accompaniment
- Develop tools and strategies to drive high jewelry revenue and create personalized client treatment initiatives reflecting Chaumet's prestige
- Support store direction in team development, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance coaching
- Conduct daily briefings and provide on-the-spot coaching to sales advisors and apprentices
- Ensure flawless visual merchandising execution aligned with commercial priorities and Chaumet's brand guidelines
- Oversee store operations including inventory management, packaging organization, supply replenishment, and store opening/closing procedures
- Set team sales objectives, conduct annual evaluations, propose development plans, and provide daily performance guidance
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–8 years of retail experience in luxury or premium sectors
- Proven first-line management experience with sales teams
- Fluent in French and English
- Exceptional personal presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong capacity to welcome clients and establish rapport
- Demonstrated empathy and commitment to team development
- Ability to generate strategic recommendations and lead their implementation
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Knowledge of jewelry and watchmaking industry highly valued
