Chaumet Paris seeks an Assistant International Merchandiser for High Jewelry internship (January 2027, 6 months). Support global merchandising strategy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports and performance analyses for high jewelry sales
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative sales analyses to identify sales opportunities and optimize inventory flow
- Establish and monitor productivity tracking reports for high jewelry events
- Provide cross-functional analytical support to the merchandising team on ad-hoc requests
- Monitor assortment compliance and effectiveness by region, maintaining fill rate reports against target inventory
- Track production pieces and ensure clear internal communication regarding status
- Prepare materials for cluster and assortment review sessions
- Update collection mappings in collaboration with the Marketing department for market communications
- Define assortments for store events and promotions in coordination with regional markets
- Prioritize market allocations according to assortment requirements for retail locations and special events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Bac +5 equivalent) in commerce, engineering, political science, or marketing-focused university program
- Minimum one internship experience required
- Strong numeracy skills with proven ability to work with data-driven analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Power BI experience is advantageous
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and sensitivity to multicultural market dynamics
- Fluent English proficiency
