CHANEL is seeking a Working Student, Legal for its Hamburg office, starting in January 2027. The role is initially fixed-term for one year and offers up to 20 hours per week, supporting the Legal team with contract administration, legal research and collaboration with external counsel and authorities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the drafting, review and administration of contracts and legal documents.
- Coordinate and maintain digital contract management and ensure the contract database remains up to date.
- Research legal questions and prepare practical guidance, particularly on contract law, consumer law, general terms and conditions, and data protection law.
- Contribute to the development of contract templates, standard clauses and checklists.
- Support collaboration with external law firms and authorities, as well as the preparation of presentations and decision papers.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of the first state examination in law or advanced studies in law; initial practical experience is preferred.
- Interest in legal and business matters, as well as organisational and administrative tasks.
- Independent, structured and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Very good German and English skills.
