Role & Responsibilities
- Support the management accounting function for the Perfumes & Beauty division, including preparation of month‑end journal entries and supporting the monthly close process.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigate variances and prepare explanatory notes for management reporting.
- Process and review supplier invoices and expense postings; assist with accounts payable workflows and payment follow‑up.
- Contribute to inventory and cost accounting tasks specific to beauty and fragrance products, including stock reconciliations and cost allocations.
- Prepare routine financial analyses and ad‑hoc reports to support budgeting, forecasting and commercial reviews.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners (commercial, supply chain, operations) to ensure accurate transactional posting and resolve accounting queries.
- Support internal and external audit processes by compiling documentation and evidence upon request.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a recognised higher education programme in Accounting, Finance or Management (Bachelor’s/Master’s level), or vocational qualifications such as BTS Comptabilité et Gestion / DCG, and eligible for an alternance/work‑study contract starting September 2026.
- Strong numerical rigor, attention to detail and a methodical approach to reconciliations and controls.
- Good organisational skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced luxury environment.
- Professional discretion and the ability to interact confidently with internal stakeholders across functions.
