Chanel in Milan seeks a temporary Welcomist to manage front‑of‑house client services at its boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors with polished hospitality, ensuring an immediate and memorable first impression.
  • Manage appointments, waiting lists and in‑store flow to optimise client experience and advisor availability.
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally, directing requests to sales advisors or relevant teams.
  • Coordinate with sales advisors and clienteling teams to support personalised service and follow‑up.
  • Maintain boutique presentation standards at the welcome desk and public areas, ensuring discretion and confidentiality.
  • Perform light administrative tasks such as guest registration, coatroom management and basic point‑of‑contact duties during shifts.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer‑facing experience in luxury retail, high‑end hospitality or similar client‑service environment preferred.
  • Impeccable personal presentation, professional demeanour and commitment to client confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a service‑oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends, for the duration of a temporary contract.
  • Ability to multitask in a high‑traffic boutique while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
