Chanel Vancouver is hiring a Watches & Fine Jewelry Team Lead to drive sales, clienteling and lead the boutique team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the boutique watches and fine jewelry sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets, KPIs and conversion metrics.
  • Design and execute high-value clienteling strategies, maintain VIP relationships and oversee private appointments and trunk-show activity.
  • Coach, mentor and develop sales consultants on horology and gemological knowledge, selling techniques and brand service standards.
  • Oversee daily boutique operations including staff scheduling, floor rotations, inventory accuracy and loss-prevention protocols.
  • Ensure visual merchandising, product presentation and boutique ambience strictly comply with Chanel’s brand guidelines.
  • Manage high-value transactions, order processing and coordinate after-sales service and repairs with central service teams.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance; prepare regular reports, forecasts and action plans to optimise assortment and staffing.
  • Recruit, onboard and perform performance reviews; implement targeted training programmes to elevate team capability.
  • Coordinate with marketing, PR and wholesale teams on in-store events, client invitations and collaborative activations.
  • Maintain absolute discretion with client information and high-value merchandise, upholding Chanel’s standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership record in luxury retail with direct responsibility for a sales floor or boutique team.
  • Specialised experience in watches and/or fine jewelry sales; demonstrable product expertise in horology and gemstones.
  • Track record of developing and executing successful clienteling strategies for VIP and HNW clientele.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in sales reporting, KPI ownership and inventory control.
  • Impeccable presentation, discretion and professional demeanour appropriate to a high-jewellery environment.
