Chanel in Dubai seeks a Watches & Fine Jewellery Retail Operations Executive to manage boutique operations, inventory and client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day boutique operations for watches and fine jewellery, ensuring impeccable presentation, stock integrity and client experience.
- Manage inventory control for high-value merchandise, including receipts, transfers, cycle counts and reconciliation procedures.
- Implement and enforce security, loss-prevention and compliance protocols specific to precious timepieces and gemstones.
- Coordinate after-sales service and repairs with regional service centres and technical partners to guarantee brand standards.
- Analyse commercial KPIs and operational metrics; produce regular reports and recommend corrective actions to optimise sales and productivity.
- Lead, coach and schedule boutique operations staff; drive training in product knowledge, handling procedures and luxury service standards.
- Collaborate with merchandising, clienteling and regional operations teams to execute launches, trunk shows and VIP events.
- Maintain flawless visual merchandising and bespoke display requirements for watches and jewellery, liaising with visual teams as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail operations with direct exposure to watches and/or fine jewellery boutiques.
- Strong understanding of inventory control methodologies for high-value goods and proven experience managing stock reconciliation.
- Demonstrable knowledge of security and loss-prevention practices relevant to jewellery and horology.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with experience training boutique teams on operational standards.
- Fluency in English; additional regional languages (e.g. Arabic) advantageous but not required.

Experience
Typically 5+ years in luxury retail operations, with at least 2–3 years focused on watches and/or fine jewellery; experience in Gulf or Middle East markets preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, hospitality or a related discipline — or equivalent professional experience; vocational training in horology or gemology is a plus.
