Chanel seeks a Warehouse Senior Associate in Singapore to lead distribution center operations in Fragrance and Beauty logistics and team management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage an effective, cohesive warehouse team to achieve brand performance, financial health, and client engagement objectives
- Monitor team performance and productivity while fostering psychological safety and personal development opportunities
- Coordinate daily workforce allocation and operational resources to support service level achievement and productivity targets
- Oversee inbound, outbound, and inventory activities to ensure perfect order fulfillment and healthy inventory turnover
- Champion compliance with Health & Safety, security, housekeeping, 5S, and quality standards within the operational area
- Support creation and implementation of operational standard operating procedures and ensure team adherence
- Escalate complex operational deviations to the Warehouse Supervisor and serve as an obstacle remover for daily team success
- Report key operational updates, risks, and improvement opportunities to the Warehouse Supervisor
- Promote inter and intra-team communication and deliver operational excellence cross-functionally
Qualifications
- Proven team leadership and people management experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and process adherence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with capability to foster psychological safety
- Commitment to continuous learning and skill development in operations and people management
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook)
Skills
Experience
Proven experience in warehouse or distribution center operations with demonstrated success in team leadership and operational management. Experience in the luxury, beauty, or fragrance sectors is advantageous but not essential. Hands-on background managing daily warehouse workflows including inbound/outbound and inventory activities required.
Education
Secondary education (high school diploma or equivalent) minimum. Further education in supply chain management, logistics, or business operations is advantageous.
